Is it official that they are going to get the Lowe's Fernandez machines or perhaps an older car in the Patron or XM cars?

I can't say how official anything is... but I believe the Lowe's/Fernandez Acura is the only one available...

Not sure where the Patron Highcroft LMP2 Acura is but I have read somewhere else (might have been on AmercanLeMans.com) that another European team has already bought an Acura as well.

Seems a shame that Acura has pulled the plug on its sports car program... with a guaranteed entry into Le Mans next year it would've been interesting, but the ARX-2 was always going to struggle unless Acura took a different direction with its engine program and I don't think they ever had any intention of doing that
