Speedy Sebah in name change, announces drivers

Speedy Racing Team Sebah to be known as Rebellion Racing next year.
Speedy Racing Team Sebah will be re-branded Rebellion Racing in 2010 in deference to their main partner, Rebellion time pieces.

The 2010 race programme will focus on the Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the squad will campaign two Lola LMP1 coupes.

Other races under the Le Mans banner will be considered by the Swiss team depending on the final schedule of the Le Mans Series, which has not yet been finalised.

Andrea Belicchi, Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost will spearhead the Rebellion Racing attack having impressed in 2009 and both Lola-Rebellion entries will arrive in 2010 with 'reworked aerodynamics'.

"The Rebellion Racing engineers and Lola established a major development programme at the end of the 2009 season to ensure the cars comply with the 2010 ACO Regulations whilst at the same time optimising the performance of the LMP1 coupe," explained a team statement.

"Many elements have already been tested in the wind tunnel, however the final result will only be visible in a few weeks."

Rebellion Racing's fourth driver for the Le Mans Series and the additional drivers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be announced at a later date.
