It is a pity that French Motorsport is so political.

There are so many more teams that could run these cars so much more competeitively than ORECA. I use the example Martin Shorts team who took over the Dellaras. They did so much better on a quater of the budget (???).

It is the same with the Petrol- Deisel contraversy, it is political, not true competition.

RollCenter Racing did get a bit of support from Nissan while testing their possible GT engine... can't discount that...

The engine rules put in place by the ACO border on biased, and show far to much lobbying from Audi/VW..

The whole Diesel/Petrol situation is only going to get worse in 2011 when the capacity difference gets wider... at least now teams like Aston Martin can counter with a big 6l V12 against the 5.5l twin turbo diesels... but once the 2011 rules come in it will 2l or 3.4l verses 4.4l and I think reliability will become a larger issue for teams that try to be competitive with petrol engines as they will need to run huge boost pressures (which the ACO will limit) or huge revs
