One lesson to learn from here. Don't buy Peugeots . Astonishing speed means nothing if reliability is an issue. Good move by audis. They were consistent throughout the race and not be intimidated by Peugeots speed.

Pug hasn't learn much from the past few years at Le Mans. They still don't seem to realize it's an endurance race, not a sprint race. Sure, it's impressive to be 15km/h faster than the Audis, but what's the use? Last year notwithstanding, all the Pugs have broken down in one way or another.

And Pugs budget is what, two or three times Audi's?

Hmm, Peugeot lose Le Mans, and Audi yet again pick up the pieces. Seriously, it's getting a little predictable, just like the WRC, with only 2 possible winners. Roll on the new regs, and more Manufacturers.

Leveling the playing field between diesel and gasolene powered cars would improve competition. The 2011 rules encourage hybrid designs and is much more appropriate for LMS/ALMS than F1. One does tend to root for the tortoise.
