A deflated Alex Wurz has admitted that it 'hurt' not to be able to add to his winning record in the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours after piloting what was arguably the fastest car in the race - but the ex-F1 star vows to be back again in 2011 in search of another handprint rather than just a handshake...

Well said. Now we need to restore World Sportscar Championship so GT / sportscars drivers would not wait whole year for just one important race but they would fight all season for the championship. We really need it. We have formula world championship, GT world championship, touring cars world championship and now we need sportscars world championship. Top LMP cars are now in fact built just for one race per year. One race. Ridiculous.

Of course, ALMS is good (but used to be better.). But LMS is a joke, some four races a year and many teams don't take it seriously (especially factory teams). Such advanced and beautiful racing like endurance sportscars needs its own worldwide championship. It was big in 80s, very popular and I hope that those golden days will return.
