Ben Collins drove in the V8 Supercar series in Australia. At the Bathurst 1000km race at the Mount Panorama circuit.

He was less than ordinary & well off the pace in a car that should have been competitive.

S.T.S- The car was off the pace cos it was off the track and in the wall at the cutting with Nathan Pretty at the wheel (lap 156). Very unfair comment to make. May have finished on the lead lap too, on the worlds craziest road/race track.

good news. i believe collins is probably better off in le mans than in touring cars. he seems very fast in lms cars compared to touring cars from what i've seen.

Even quality drivers from around the world who attempt to "tame the mountain" look very average and ordinary there unless paired with a top regular driver in a winning team.

I'm sure you could do better...!!!

I think Ben Collins may have believed his own hype
From the stig. He's never hit any lofty heights and probably never will.
He should have kept his mouth shut about the stig.
He'll fade into oblivion once his 15 minutes of fame are over.
