Yeah, it was really shameful the way Davidson and especially Gene blocked and even tried to run Lotterer off the road. Had it been the other way around, a backmarker Audi several laps down behaving like that towards the leading Pug and it would immediately be black flagged.

Oh well. I guess if Audi ever wants to be treated on equal footing to Peugeot at Le Mans they have to rebrand the team to Bugatti (Bugatti is also owned by VW, in case you don't know). Considering they've once before rebranded themselves as Bentley (also owned by VW), it really isn't that far fetched.

How awesome would that be, a Bugatti winnning at Le Mans again?

With 4 remaining cars in the race, if Peugeot really wanted to run the last Audi off, it would be off !

That said, that kind of intimidation wasn't really necessary and not a good PR move. Yet, I would not put everybody at Peugeot in the same bag but some are always happy to do that.
