Audi has been milking for the last 10 years how good they are against virtually no competition, they now have it, lets see how good they really are.

Let's hope they do a better job than the formula one team.... Ha... Actually if that's anything to base it on then they will fail miserably... Petrol and hybrid.. Two propulsion systems... Audi can win with one propulsion system.. Just diesel... Audi all the way....

By the way doesn't the sketch look like the Audi R18tdi... It's identical but coloured in White... Toyota can never come up with their own ideas... Boring.......

First Porsche now Toyota - sports car racing is definitely enjoying a resurgence which can only be a good thing.

But the new technology will probably take time to develop to the point it can be competitive over 24 hours, so for 2012 at least I think it will still be Audi v Peugeot.

NICE!! good to see other marques making their way back, esp my other fav Porsche. I to also expect much needed developement but can't wait to see what Audi has to do once these marques get up to speed and I'm sure it will be quickly. Finally, not just peugeot and Audi! Nissan would be great, more the merrier!

Looks identical to the Audi?... you have actually seen a recent pic of the Audi?... the only real similarity is how the engine intake and fin mold together into the rear wing... almost every other aspect of the car bears no resemblance to the Audi at all...

as for petrol being dead... hardly... they just need a set rules not ridiculously biased towards diesels... and with Porsche adding weight to the petrol side of the argument, and new rules due for 2014, it might just happen
