Historic huh?... seems some of these words are just thrown around these days...

Given the nature of Le Mans rules at the moment it was pretty much always going to be a hybrid that would take pole... the E-tron is faster than the Ultra, so it was pretty much down to if Toyota could match the Audi and its not quite there... yet

There's no denying Ant Davidson is blindingly fast although he seems to leave quite a big quake of mess behind him come raceday. I'm looking forward for the toyota-audi battle this weekend. At least now we have a "competitive" petrol car for the 1st time in a half a decade.

Last 15 minutes were exciting to watch. The Toyota's trying to attack. Nakajima was doing pretty well for somebody with so little experience at LeMans. Hope Audi/Toyota can stay close all race.

Audi might have to find another name to sell their technology in France as "etron" means "turd" in French...

Someone has failed at checking these kind of things, or maype zay ton't kive eine scheisse.

@petrolhead

where does the 6 seconds come from??... in qualifying it was only a second and even at the test day it was only about 3-4 seconds difference... and to be honest I don't think Audi will risk the "run flat out and hope everyone else breaks" tactics of last year... for starters they have 4 cars to Toyota's 2 and no one else is a serious threat for a win
