Allan McNish has walked away from a horrific shunt early on into the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours, in which the Scot's Audi came perilously close to flying over the tyre barriers.

The simple fact is, that less than an hour into the race, did McNish really need to make such a move on A) his team mate & B) a GTE car that he knows is MUCH slower ? in 500 metres there was the first of 3 straights that he could have just glided past SAFELY. Totally McNish's fault in my opinion (Don't shoot me, it just an opinion) Rocking fellas! crash on the other hand was clearly the GTE's fault, the in car footage was clear on that. Ouch !!!
