'Just hope that the Toyotas and the Porsches can take it to Audi in the coming years otherwise the P1 catagory could be well and truly killed.'

This years more than ever prototype sales are booming, in the WEC there'll be upto 25 cars covering P1/P2, the ELMS will have another 8-10 P2's, while in the ALMS Muscle Milk and Dyson will have new cars, plus upto half a dozen new P2's. Many of the new P2 teams are also planning to move upto P1 in the coming years and hoping to gain support from manufactuers like Honda and Nissan.
