Having dominated the last round of the season in Germany, Team Modena will hope to enjoy a winning end to the Le Mans Series campaign as the season draws to a close at Silverstone.
The Aston Martin squad stormed to victory at the Nurbugring and head into the season finale with a slender chance of taking the GT1 crown from under the nose of the Luc Alphand Corvette squad.
"We are looking forward to Silverstone," team principal Graham Schultz said. "It is always good to be taking part in your home round of the series. The car is running well and with the pace Antonio and Tomas showed in Germany we are hoping for a strong finish.
"We have around 200 guests coming to the race, and will also be visited by the Aston Martin Owner's Club - so it should be a memorable weekend."
Tomas Enge and Antonio Garcia will once again share driving duties in the Aston Martin but the pair must win and hope that Patrice Goueslard and Guillaume Moreau fail to finish in the Corvette.
However, Garcia said he was hopeful that the team will enjoy a strong end to its campaign in the fifth round of the year.
"I think our car will be good at Silverstone," he said. "The Corvette has been quick all season, but we have been quick and competitive and if all goes well like it did in Germany then we will be in a strong position.
"Silverstone is a quick circuit and enjoyable in a GT1 car, the weekend will be good for us and I am confident and relaxed."
