Petter Solberg says he will meet with Courage-Oreca team boss Hugues de Chaunac after Rally Norway to discuss future opportunities with the French squad on the back of his recent test session at Paul Ricard.

Solberg joined World Touring Car Champion Yvan Muller in experiencing the teams LC70E during the test at the French test circuit, with the session doubling as the shakedown for the new AIM V10 engine that will power the Courage-Oreca entries this season.

To date, the team has only confirmed the return of Nicolas Lapierre and Olivier Panis for the new season - with the pair teaming together in the #11 car - with no drivers yet named for the sister #10 car.

Driver have also to be revealed for the Le Mans 24 Hours, with Solberg believed to feature on the list for what would be his debut in the event, and the Norwegian said he would be speaking to de Chaunac after his home round of the WRC season - which will mark the first appearance of his own Petter Solberg World Rally Team.

"Unbelievable, it was really good," he told Crash.net when asked how much he had enjoyed his Ricard experience. "I got to see all the data and the times to compare with the other drivers and it was very good.

"Now we just have to see what will happen. We have a meeting with them after Rally Norway but I have to focus on Rally Norway before that."
