Aston Martin Racing has announced the signing of Miguel Ramos as part of its driver line-up for the 2009 Le Mans Series season.

The Portuguese drivers joins Jan Charouz, Tomas Enge, Stefan Mucke, Harold Primat and Darren Turner in the line-up for the season, which will see Aston Martin move up from the GT1 class to LMP1 with a brace of Lola-Aston Martins.

Ramos has spent recent seasons in the FIA GT Championship with the Vitaphone Racing team and while a new addition to the AMR factory line-up, he does have past experience of Aston Martin machinery after driving for the Aston Martin Racing BMS team in 2006.
