Following the annual Le Mans Series test session at Paul Ricard a fortnight ago, Team ORECA Matmut has now confirmed the signing of Brazilian driver Bruno Senna for the 2009 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

Senna, who had hoped to graduate to Formula One this season with Honda before the Japanese manufacturer quit the sport and was then overlooked by Brawn GP in favour of Rubens Barrichello, will line-up alongside Stephane Ortelli in the #10 LC70-AIM, while Olivier Panis and Nicolas Lapierre will share the sister #11 car.

The third driver for both cars has yet to be revealed, but both are expected to be named in due course.

Prior to making his debut at La Sarthe in the summer, Senna will take part in events in the Le Mans Series and will make his race debut with the ORECA squad in the opening round of the season at Catalunya early next month.
