Epsilon Euskadi withdraws from Le Mans

Following on from Gigawave Motorsport's announcement that it was to withdraw from the Le Mans 24 Hours this summer, the Spanish Epsilon Euskadi outfit has revealed that it is also to pull out of the event.

The team had secured one entry into the LMP1 class of the event with its closed coupe Epsilon Euskadi-Judd, while a second car was entered on the reserve list.

However, the team has now decided to withdraw both entries from the race, which means the Endurance China Team comes into the field in the GT2 class with its Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.

Seven cars remain on the reserve list should any other teams elect to drop out, with the IMSA Performance MATMUT team set to secure a second entry into the race in the event of further withdrawals.
