Pescarlo Sport will be keen to secure a first win of the Le Mans Series season as the series heads to Spa this weekend for the second round of the year.
Jean-Christophe Boullion and Christophe Tinseau came close to victory during the season-opener in Barcelona only to lose out to Aston Martin Racing in the closing stages of the race, while the sister car of Bruce Jouanny and Joao Barbosa took sixth – leaving Pescarolo second in the manufacturers' standings.
Heading to Belgium, the team will run both of its cars in full 2009 specification following a successful test on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans, with the team also hoping to make the most of penalties imposed on the diesel-powered Peugeot's – which make their seasonal debut at Spa.
“Our priority will remain winning races and winning the championship as we already did it twice,” Henri Pescarolo said. “It will constitute the priority of the teams of drivers, unchanged since Barcelona.”
