Andy Meyrick says he is looking for an upturn in fortunes at Spa as he prepares for his second outing for the Kolles team in the Le Mans Series.
The former British F3 racer saw his debut for the team become something of a test session in Spain after the #14 car was involved in an incident early on to drop out of contention near the front of the field.
The Briton will be teamed with Charles Zwolsman and Narain Karthikeyan for the Belgian race this weekend and he said he was keen to kick-start his campaign in the second race of the year.
“I'm really looking forward to this weekend at Spa,” he said. “The last race in Barcelona was a real disappointment after our promising pace in testing and I know that we should be finishing much higher up.
“It was really bad luck to be involved in an accident so early on in the race last time so as well as getting a good set-up, we need some luck on our side in Spa as well.”
