JMW names Le Mans line-up

JMW Motorsport has announced an impressive looking three driver line-up for next month's Le Mans 24 Hours as it seeks to secure honours in the GT2 class.

Regular driver Rob Bell will be joined at the wheel of the team's Ferrari 430 by fellow Britons Andrew Kirkaldy and Tim Sugden for the event, with the trio set to run in a unique colour scheme chosen through Dunlop's 'Art Car' competition.

While Kirkaldy is new to JMW, he is already well acquainted with Bell thanks to the pair's outings together for CRS Racing in the FIA GT Championship, while Sugden will step back from his managerial duties with the team in order to return to a race seat.

"The Le Mans 24 Hours is the most exciting endurance race in the world and we intend to be in the mix at the end!" team boss Jim McWhirter said of his line-up. "As we say in Irish – 'Faugh a Ballagh' [Clear the Way]!"
