Eurosport confirms live Le Mans coverage

Eurosport confirms it will carry live coverage of the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours
Eurosport has confirmed that it will once again broadcast the Le Mans 24 Hours in its entirety this summer.

The broadcaster will show live coverage of practice and qualifying on Wednesday 9 June and Thurday 10 June and will also show the race in full from the start on Saturday 12 June through to the finish the following afternoon.

For the first time, the event will also be available in high definition on Eurosport HD.

Sportscar fans will also enjoyed a daily preview show in the week leading up to the event, while the preceding Le Mans Series race at Spa next month will also receive live coverage.

“This year's race is almost certain to boil down into a duel between the diesel cars of Audi and Peugeot,” Eurosport commentator Martin Haven said. “The German manufacturer has been the dominant force at Le Mans for the past decade, while the French cars won last year's race after three years of trying. Audi will certainly be looking for revenge.”

A couple of things - 1) By now you know Speed didn't cover the Spa Event. Europesport only showed 3 hours anyway, maybe in the off-season you'll see, I wouldn't bother. 2) Speed 2 The Online Network will and should be online in time for the race and when the broadcast goes off, it will switch to the online network with commentary from Radio Le Mans. You will not see the lead up starting on Sunday when the cars get checked over and officially confirm the entry list. Now with that said, you will have daily preview shows from Radio Le Mans. The Eurosport shows should be on RU

According to /Sky tv Eurosport are only covering tonight - Thursday qualifying and from Saturday at 1.45pm and that is it . Can you clarify times, is it all the race from start Saturday right through to the finish. Can you also tell those at the circuit responsible for the graphics on screen showing something that we are not fitted with eyesight that can magnify the boxes with information. The graphics are miniscule and it is almost impossible to read. It is no good going nearer the screen this does not help so PLEASE do something about it. Apart from that this is one of the most enjoyable races that I have ever had the chance of seeing and long may it carry on. Dee :?
