It is the world's greatest motor race, an extreme test of endurance for driver and machine. Now, for the very first time, the Le Mans 24 Hours race can be experienced in breathtaking High Definition as the Official Review comes to Blu-ray.

After delivering fans the review of the annual event for many years, Duke is proud to now be bringing Le Mans to Blu-ray disc.

The new format allows viewers to experience the action, excitement and drama of this exceptional event in spectacular HD footage for an unrivalled viewing experience, and enhanced sound quality.

The Official Review is action-packed from start to finish. Duke's in-house editing team, led by Mike McKnight, has spent weeks carefully working through more than 24 hours of HD footage to select the most important moments, and skilfully bring them together into a drama-filled, comprehensive 4-hour review.

The best trackside and aerial footage is mixed with edge-of-the-seat in-car camerawork and film from inside the pits to convey the passion and drama of this famous race.

To add to the atmosphere, live commentary from Radio Le Mans and the Television coverage have been seamlessly combined to add the sense of 'as it happens' urgency missing from some review programmes.

The review allows fans to relive the epic LMP1 duel between the diesel-powered Audi R18TDIs and Peugeot 908s, as well as the highlights of the LMP2 and GT battles which proved just as fiercely contested.

Expert analysis guides viewers through all the major battles, explaining how pit stop strategy, tyre choice and rain played vital roles, as well as examining the horrifying crashes suffered by Allan McNish and Mike Rockenfeller.

Le Mans 2011 was packed with highlights, but it is the down-to-the-flag race between the Audi of Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer and the Peugeot of Sebastien Bourdais, Simon Pagenaud and Pedro Lamy for which it will be remembered for generations to come – fans will want to watch this gripping showdown again and again.
