Pescarolo has confirmed that it will delay the debut of its new car until the Le Mans 24 Hours in June.

The team ran its 2011-spec car in the opening round of the new World Endurance Championship season at Sebring after teams were given dispensation to run their older cars for the first race of 2012.

Plans had been in place to debut the new Pescarolo 03 at Spa ahead of Le Mans but the late nature of the deal to build the car means it won't be completed in time for the Belgian race.

Pescarolo will still be present at Spa, with the Dome S102.5 it will also race at La Sarthe.

Sebastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian will share driving duties at the wheel of the car.
