Watch JRM debut at Le Mans – on Crash.net

Watch the Le Mans 24 Hours with the JRM Racing team - right here on Crash.net
Sportscar fans will be able to catch all the action as the JRM Racing team makes its debut in the Le Mans 24 Hours in a special online stream – which will be available right here on Crash.net.

The stream, which will also run through the team's website www.jrm-group.com, will give fans the chance to ride onboard the #22 HPD ARX-03a which will be driven at the Circuit de la Sarthe by David Brabham, Peter Dumbreck and Karun Chandhok.

A camera mounted on the front of the car will give unparalleled access to the race as JRM challenges for honours in the LMP1 field, while there will also be live interviews from the pit lane with the three drivers as well as team personnel – including chief engineer Nigel Stepney and team principal James Rumsey.

“Le Mans is one of the most thrilling races on the racing calendar, with 56 cars potentially on track at the same time,” Rumsey said. “As well as racing cars in class, each lap the LMP1 cars will have to negotiate the traffic and deal with the potentially evolving track and weather conditions.

“Having an onboard camera tracking our progress will give fans a pretty unique insight of what it's like to be in the hot seat, actually out on track. The addition of the live commentary will also keep viewers up to date on the overall progress of the race, with all the latest news from the team and our direct competitors.

“Le Mans is a very special race and we are delighted we can give fans access all areas to see how we are progressing over the race. It's our aim to finish our debut race and, where possible, to finish well – become part of the team as we try to achieve our goals.”

Coverage on the stream will start shortly before the race gets underway at 15:00 CET / 14:00 UK on Saturday and will come to an end just after the conclusion of the race 24 hours later.

The stream will be available through the Crash.net Le Mans channel through a specially promoted story.

This together with Eurosport and Sportlemon.com means one thing - we are fortunate to live in a time where one can enjoy one's sport in a way never imagined not that many years ago. Thank you JRM and others for this luxury. Hope all goes well - although fear you might have a rather damp time of it - have just looked at meteo.fr
