Audi confirms 2013 driver line-ups

Audi reveals its driver line-up for the World Endurance Championship and Le Mans 24 Hours
Audi has confirmed its line-ups for the 2013 sportscar season after the announcement of the entry lists for both the World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The German marque will field two cars for the full WEC season, with Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer sharing driving duties in the #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro and Loic Duval joining Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish in the sister car.

For the races at Spa and Le Mans, Audi will field a third car, with Marc Gene, Lucas di Grassi and Oliver Jarvis behind the wheel.

“With these three combinations we've put together an international team that we expect a lot of,” Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich said. “Our younger drivers will have the chance to establish themselves alongside the experienced Audi drivers who have really been pleasing us with their top results in all these years.

“With that, we're in a very good position in terms of drivers for the Le Mans 24 Hours as well as for the other WEC races.”
