VIDEO: Lotterer’s Le Mans goal

Andre Lotterer heads to this weekend's Le Mans 24 Hours looking for a rare hat-trick.

Audi team-mate Tom Kristensen may have set the standard with his record eight victories in the Le Mans 24 Hours, but Andre Lotterer is already setting his sights on establishing a dynasty of his own.

The German, who spends most of his season combining his Audi appearances with single-seater and GT commitments in Japan, heads to La Sarthe for this year's 90th anniversary event looking to wrap up a personal hat-trick, having been in the winning car in both 2011 and 2012.

While Kristensen will be keen to stem the tide, which appears to be turning in favour of Audi's younger stars, Lotterer is ready to continue making inroads into the Dane's record haul.
