A race that requires no introduction, the Le Mans 24 Hours has established itself as one of motorsport's most anticipated annual events.

Full of history, wonder and intrigue, ever since the flag dropped on the first Le Mans 24 Hours race in 1932, the event - which has changed relatively little in those 82 years - has grown into a blue riband race that everyone wants to win.

A true test of speed, endurance and consistency, these machines have also evolved in terms of technology, innovation and design, ensuring today's LMP1 cars can generate more than 1,000bhp.
