Wayne Taylor Racing is set to honour its invite to the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours, albeit with a different car to its United SportsCar Championship entry.

The outfit was granted an 'automatic' invite to the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours alongside a handful of other teams after being singled out by the USCC, but was never permitted to race its 'Daytona Prototype' machine as it is ineligible under the current regulations.

Nonetheless, team principal Wayne Taylor says it is a privilege to have been invited and has worked hard to find an alternative solution, hinting that he has sourced a different car to enter into the race instead and will be submitting its entry to the ACO as early as next week.
