Porsche GT drivers Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber will join Nico Hulkenberg in the number 19 Porshce 919 Hybrid at the Le Mans 24 Hour race.

The entry list for the prestigious 24 hour race revealed the pair who are to join the former F1 driver after he was confirmed to be driving for Porsche at Le Mans in 2015.

New Zealand-born Bamber has secured his first major manufacturer contract with Porsche after impressing the team in its youth development programme. Last year, he claimed the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and has shot up through the ranks at the German team.

Alongside his Le Mans commitments, Bamber will also race in the United SportsCar Championship in the USA in a Porshce 911 RSR.

"Receiving support from Porsche was the chance of a lifetime as a race driver," he said. "I've reached new levels in every aspect and I'll do my utmost to justify this trust again this season."

British driver Tandy follows a similar route to Bamber with Porsche and was promoted to the factory team last season.

The duo will join Hulkenberg for the Le Mans 24 hour race as well as the WEC round at Spa and the drivers have received the full faith of Porsche Motorsport LMP1 Vice President Fritz Enzinger.

"In every regard, I have full faith in our driver line-up," he said.

The number 19 car will join Porsche's LMP1 challenge alongside the trio of Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Mark Webber who will race in the full WEC season. In addition, an unchanged team from 2014 sees Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb return for a second season in the WEC.

"We are very happy to be allowed to enter a third car in what is only our second season," Team Principal Andreas Seidl said. "This shows once more how strongly the company backs the LMP1 programme."
