Brendon Hartley has maintained his lead in the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid with the #6 Toyota of Mike Conway in close company as race stints come into play.

The leading Porsche is narrowly holding off Toyota who has produced longer 14-lap stints which sees Conway closing the deficit with each stint.

Further back the #8 Audi with Loic Duval is in third just over 15 seconds behind the top two as the #5 Toyota made similar stint gains in fourth ahead of the pole-sitter #2 Porsche.

In LMP2, Manor and Roberto Merhi has continued its impressive debut at Le Mans 24 Hours leading the class and running seventh overall.

The British squad has a useful 43-second lead on the #46 Thiriet By TDS Racing which has defending LMP2 champion KCMG breathing down its neck in third.

In the GTE-Pro battle the #69 Ford Chip Ganassi continues to lead with Dirk Muller in the car while #91 Porsche with Nick Tandy but both owe a pit stop to the runners behind.

In GTE-Am the #78 KCMG Porsche leads the class with the sister Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing Porsche in close company.
