The #6 Toyota is holding station at the front of the pack but continues to be hounded by the #2 Porsche at the midway point of the 84th running of Le Mans 24 Hours.

In an hour of steady progress the majority of the LMP1 maintained its running position with Kamui Kobayashi keeping the #6 Toyota in the lead around one minute up the road from Romain Dumas in the Porsche.

Anthony Davidson ensured the #5 Toyota held on to its place in the top three with a couple of laps in the pocket on the #8 Audi. The #1 Porsche finally got going again – after over two hours and 30 minutes in the pits with technical problems – but restarted 16 laps off the leader.

In LMP2, the three-way battle for the lead continues between #36 Signatech Alpine, #46 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca and #26 G-Drive Oreca as the trio swapped the lead at the halfway point.

Risi Competizione Ferrari has taken a storm to the two Ford Chip Ganassi leaders by heading the GTE-Pro field by almost a minute from the #69 Ford with the #68 sister car less than two minutes behind.

In GTE-Am, #88 Abu Dhabi-Proton Porsche has kept its place at the front with a healthy 50-second advantage over #62 Scuderia Corse Ferrari.
