Le Mans 24 Hours: 21H: Davidson leads Jani by one-minute as Kobayashi spins

Anthony Davidson is holding a one-minute lead of the chasing Neel Jani to set up the intriguing Porsche chase of Toyota, while the sister #6 Toyota spins off to fade away.

With the two front runners largely neutralising one another the remarkable action at the front saw Kamui Kobayashi spun off into the gravel chasing the front pair.

Despite getting going again the #6 Toyota I effectively two minutes off the leaders and without mistakes out front looks unlikely to battle back for the win.

Elsewhere, Le Mans rookie Gustavo Menezes completed an impressive final stint to keep #36 Signatech Alpine ahead in LMP2 but it was final misery for Manor. Having lead earlier in the race Matt Rao crashed out of the race and sustained terminal damage to the front of his car.

In GTE-Pro former leader #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari spun out to leak a huge amount of time to #68 Ford Chip Ginassi with around 30 seconds splitting the pair out front.

In GTE-Am, the Scuderia Corse Ferrari looks assured of victory with a two-lap lead if it can steer clear of trouble.
