@Gripper you lucky bastard!
@Genisio you don't know what is ngoin on because crash has nearly ignored the world's premeire indoor off road racing series currently underway. But this article is here so there is hope for the future. 250 or 450 NO ONE can honestly predict what will happpen and before anyone starts crying about js7 or cr22 being injured: rd5 won the 2nd race vs. both straight up.
@Tommivo Yo, did you see the race? Barcia is famous for wild riding(1st guy who chucks a bike like js7) but his moves were tight passing (rubbin=racin) but that **** cp377 was looking for the takeout (running him wide, brake checking.

Also, Barcia is a young rookie (1st AMA SX), Pourcel in comparison is a well traveled and seasoned champion ('09 SX lites - eaast coast). One would think he could beat Barcia straight up but I think he knows his days on top are numbered(he should be on a 450 really). I read the cocky frenchman even claimed he never heard of Barcia, lol for those who don't know they raced 250s outdoors all summer( It's like Rossi saying he never heard of Lorenzo). Bet he f-in heard of him now!

@Powerstroke,
Pourcel's treatment of Barcia was no worse than dozens of other moves by other riders that in that race. That's the nature of any race where you have that many bikes on a tight indoor track. Compared to the block passes and take-outs etc. that used to happen in the 1970s, today's racing is pretty clean (and better for it).

That said, I really like Barcia. He was a hoot to watch in the outdoor series last year, fast and fearless and not intimidated by any of the big names.

Barcia is a good bet to be champ some time soon.

@190mph On par? When our guys go against the worlds finest at the mx des nations they kill it year in year out. RD5 (arguably third or fourth best in AMA) won the mxdn last year in third official race on a 450. And RV 2 (also third or fourth)won the mxdn open a few years back on 250! I would never suggest our road racers are on par with WSB or MGP. But when the worlds best dirt bikers want to beat the best they come here to race.

Powerstroke, was i making a comparison with regard to riders ability in my comment? - no i wasn't you numpty!

I mentioned prestige - as in worth-while and highly regarded championship/s. I wasn't suggesting American riders weren't fast. I didn't realise my comment was that difficult to comprehend.

I'll try harder next time to simplify my comments for your simple mind.
