Jordan, without a point in this season's F1 campaign, are looking to recruit Tyrrell designer Mike Gascoyne in order to overcome its current crisis.
Although neither Gascoyne or Jordan boss Eddie Jordan will confirm the stories, it is though that a deal will be completed soon enough for the former to turn the team's season around. The current 198 model is lacking in pace and the Jordan's technical director Gary Anderson missed the Canadian race to speed along revisions.
It is thought that Gascoyne will assume overall control of design, with Anderson moving into a supervisory role.
