David Coulthard has threatened to quit the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA) in his quest for a code of conduct among drivers.
The Scot, who first called for the code after his collision with Michael Schumacher in Argentina - raised the issue again at a meeting of the GPDA prior to this weekend's French GP. He failed to gain much support from his rivals, however, and has threatened to pull out of the Association because of it.
(We should do something before there's a serious accident,) Coulthard said, (other wise there will be a knee-jerk reaction to someone being hurt. The code will only work if you get all the drivers together, but it's like banging your head on a brick wall sometimes.)
