Double win for Dungey at Millville

Supercross champ Ryan extends AMA 450 Nationals lead as Webb takes the 250 class
KTM's Ryan Dungey took an easy double win in the 450 class at the Millville US National, after catching and passing holeshot man Justin Barcia in both motos. In race one, Yamaha man Barcia slipped off early on and remounted for a distant second, as defending champ Ken Roczen took third nine seconds further back.

Roczen was the first of three Suzukis, leading home Blake Baggett and Broc Tickle. Husky's Jason Anderson fell on the opening lap but came back to sixth.
Second time out Barcia held off Dungey for almost half the race until Dungey swept past and pulled away to another decisive victory by 11 seconds.

Dungey, riding on the track that's in his home state of Minnesota, said: “It feels so good. I enjoy riding this track – it's in my backyard and I rode here as a kid. So many memories here. Mum and dad and my grandparents put every dime they had into getting me here.”

Barcia said: “I made a couple of mistakes which cost me the moto. My bike's a ripper for sure!”

Roczen held third for most of the second moto until he got past by Baggett, losing the final place on the podium despite scoring the same number of points. Roczen said: “I'm trying to squeeze everything out of the Suzuki at the start but I'm not getting right up there. The track is very different and the banks are very deep.”

Yamaha's Cooper Webb won the Millville 250 overall after taking a win in the opening moto, and runner-up behind Jeremy Martin second time out. Webb clinched the opener from Kawasaki ace Joey Savatgy who just held off local hero Jeremy Martin for third - thanks to Martin riding with a broken clutch lever. His brother and fellow Yamaha man Alex Martin was fourth from holeshot ace RJ Hampshire while KTM's Marvin Musquin crashed out of the lead to finish eighth behind Husky's Zach Osborne.

Second time out Jeremy Martin led from lap one to take the win and extend his lead in the championship from Musquin, who posted third place for fourth overall, one spot behind Savatgy.
