Fresh from his astounding run of victories in every one of Europe's Extreme enduro events, Red Bull KTM rider Jonny Walker will be following fellow KTM pilot Shaun Simpson to the US a week after the Scot races at Unadilla

Walker, who has conquered Hells, Gate, The Tough One, Erzberg and Romaniacs this year will head out to Sequatchie, Tennessee to take on the Kenda AMA Tennessee Knockout on August 15 and 16. The race will pit Walker against defending champion Cody Webb, a rider that pipped him to the runner up spot in the 2015 SuperEnduro Championship behind winner Taddy Blasusiak.

Here's last year's highlights, where Webb won for the second time:

"I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to race in the States", said Walker. "With so much of my racing taking place in Europe, getting the chance to race against new riders on a track I've not been to before is really exciting. Things have been going really, really well so far this year so it would be great to keep my winning streak going. I know that guys like Cody Webb will be tough to beat, but I can't wait to race against him and guys like Taylor Robert outdoors. It's also going to be great to race in front of some of my US fans and sponsors. It's going to be a blast".

The Tennessee Knockout is now in it's fifth year and is acknowledeged as one of the toughest events in the US Off-road calendar. The event, the creation of trials venue owner Dan Brown and Enduro Cross founder Eric Perronard features a unique multi-round "Knockout" format and each round is different - sometimes the riders go against the clock, sometimes head to head on both short and long courses over super-tough terrain. Thankfully for the spectators of the event, most of the most challenging and gnarly sections are within walking distance, which it has to be said is a novel concept for enduros.

On present form Walker has to be the strong favourite, but Webb and Robert and a host of home-grown riders will be doing their best to make sure he doesn't clock up another win in his astounding year.
