Goncalves signs two MXGP deals in a week

A Husky ride and now a safety role for GP bosses Youthstream mean Rui will be busy in 2016
By Adam Duckworth

Just a few day after clinching a deal to stay in the world championship on a new Husqvarna team, Rui Goncalves has been names as a special adviser to improve track preparation, maintenance, safety and to ensure better racing for GP bosses Youthstream.

The role will start as a part-time in 2016 as he is still racing full time, but in future he will become full-time from the moment he stops his career as a professional rider.

Portuguese ace Goncalves has huge experience racing at a high level, he speaks many languages and is very respected in the paddock. For 2016 the former Red Bull KTM rider will ride a 450 Husky for the new Italian 8Biano Massignani Husky team.
