In the MX2 class, Belgian Jeremy van Horebeek took his first grand prix victory by a single point over fellow KTM rider Rui Goncalves, after the latter saw his hopes of a third victory in succession end in a race two crash.
Van Horebeek managed consistent 2-3 moto finishes, while race one winner Goncalves crossed the line fifth in the final outing. Frenchman Anthony Boissiere completed the all-KTM podium, while young German Ken Roczen enjoyed a breakthrough ride to fourth with 6-2 race finishes for Suzuki.
Former points leader Gautier Paulin (Kawasaki) was only 15th overall and is now three points behind new world championship leader Marvin Musquin (Honda). Musquin was eleventh on Sunday.
