Ducati celebrate perfect title trilogy

With Stoner having lifted his debut riders' title at the previous Japanese round, Ducati wrapped up the two remaining crowns - two rounds early - when Stoner and Capirossi delivered the factory's first one-two of the season, and second ever after Valencia 2006.

"Winning the constructors' and teams' titles confirms and strengthens the value of the goal conquered three weeks ago by Casey," said Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding. "We have a great team of men and women who, with courage and warmth, have made a dream come true."

Ducati is the first non-Japanese manufacturer to win the premier-class constructors' title since MV Agusta in 1973.
