Paving begins at Indy

All paving should be completed by the end of November with favourable weather, said Kevin Forbes, IMS director of engineering and construction.

Construction on the new road course began on July 30 and is due to be finished by Opening Day for the 92nd Indianapolis 500 on May 4, 2008.

The 16-turn course, which will be run in the opposite direction to the 'old' F1 road course, will debut during the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP on September 12-14, 2008.
