Vermeulen to test V8 Supercar

Team Suzuki MotoGP star Chris Vermeulen will swap two wheels for four when he steps aboard one of the Britek Motorsport-prepared Ford Falcon V8 Supercars at Winton Motor Raceway in Victoria this coming Tuesday.

The Australian MotorGP racer will be a guest of Jason Bright and as well as the Fujitsu and IRWIN Racing teams.

The drive will be just two days after the final round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series at Phillip Island.

Vermeulen had been at Phillip Island earlier in the week for crucial post-season testing aboard the 2008 Suzuki MotoGP machine.

The drive at Winton will include instruction from Bright, with two seats placed in the car.

The drive is due to get underway from around 2pm [local time].
