I like it how he tells a lot about the bike's characteristics. Hope he will find the exit speed. I guess it is something like wack it open and hang on for dear life.... If you trust the bike that is. And when you also have to learn the character of the carbon frame it might take some time. Logical.

I think people will just have to accept the fact that Stoner is a genius. Rossi may be the only other rider in the world capable of pushing the Ducatis limits to the same degree. I would love to see them both race each other on the red beasts.....that would be worth paying money for :)

What is it with having a dig at Pedrosa and Puig?

All this "Go Nicky!" rubbish?

Yeah, he's a nice guy and an ex-world champ but whilst it's all well and good wishing him luck, he is going to show once again that he isn't quick enough for his seat in Moto GP.

The ONLY way he can stick it to Puig & HRC is by beating them in the championship, and based on this admittedly very early test, that won't be happening.

The Ducati is a beast and very difficult to ride fast, so a realistic marker has to be Sete Gibernau.

If Hayden can't match Gibernau by season end, we should perhaps look at hanging up his boots?

Poor show Ducati... the bike working first time with Stoner was luck even Ducati have admitted it, and now in it's third year it is still unrideable for the other 11 riders who've had a go. For me there attitude is worst than Kawasaki's. Only one competitive bike... and no real idea how or they would be able to adapt it for others... If Stoner loses again I fear for the worst for their Motogp team...

It's still early days but I think it is beginning to point towards the fact that Ducati have some very poor machinery which is being totally flattered by Casey's bravery.

It's been asked in the past what Valentino could do if he had the Ducati and I honestly truely believe he would be nowhere on it. Now before the Rossi brigade jump on me (which they probably will anyway!) let me say that Valentino and Mr Burgess could probably turn it into a very good bike, but give it to Vale in it's present state and I doubt he could achieve half of what Casey has done with it. They are very different riders, Vale gets by technical expertise, development, analysis, Casey gets by on a wing and a prayer!

.....make that half a wing and a prayer

Oh,and btw Mr Twoddle, I guess by your twisted logic one should also consign Yamaha and Honda to the moderately rubbish pile with Dovi and Jorge also lacking the skill and bravery of the a-team to get a decent team showing. Ergo the only real bike out there is Suzuki because both factory riders are up there?
