Why are people only give negative comments? Anyone who loves MotoGP wants more bikes IN. I don't like what Kawasaki did, but I can partly understand their discissions.

I'm just happy to see another bike in the field and who knows, the bike might have potential as it's completely rebuild compared to last years bike. I would also like to see Hopper back, but it is not going to happen.

This underdog thing might just the thing needed to be succesful as against all odds Melandri/Kawasaki can bounce back. Possibly this team will be very motivated as you can't really blame Melandri or the mechanics for all the bad managment @ Kawasaki office.

Who knows what happens? Give them a chance!

Hmmm... would anyone of really missed the Kawasaki at the rear or the pack? Especially now it's getting no development all year. At least the r and d department could have concentrated on building a decent zx10 with the spare time!

My guess is this means Hopkins is number 2 and will be forced to ride junk if Melandri decides not to ride JUNK.

Don't we all wish WE could be treated like Kwaq is treating both these guys? Shades of Honda (Rossi?)

It'll take a hurricane to get this thing up the grid a bit, even with Master Yoda on board!
Guess Melandri will not be riding it when the season starts- he wont want to ride something crap. Neither will Hopper.

This is so unconvincing and a sign of a company doing no more than meet its contractual commitments to save a big fine.

I read on MCN that Hayate means a Hurricane in Jap but it always is going to be the kawasaki team and we all no that. I also dont get why the name change cos its not a fast bike and its not going to make bike go faster.

Ant, have ever riden a ZX10R? I guess not otherwise you would not have made that comment. Take one out, hit 10,000rpm and become a man! Forget everything that you read in the media, the ZX10R is the greatest superbike-fullstop.
