To "Bruce " and "Allen", Stoner (or Hayden or Pedrosa) hasn't got to where he is through T.C.

If you go to a GP (dry) and stand at a corner exit you'll see the above mentioned guys with the rear wheel 30 cm out from the front(or more), leaving 50m long black lines.
So how much T.C. are they actually using?

These guys use the T.C. to stop the rear tyre from full on "smoking up" and limit the number of big high sides.

Suggesting that their use of T.C. is what makes them fast is a joke.

Stoner is looking like a man on a mission! Surely he doesn't have the carbon frame and swingarm dialed in just yet - or does he?

Part of the ducati frame is carbon fibre and now the swing arm too!!!!, and he goes a second quicker than anyone else, i had rossi down for this years championship as a result of getting into stoners head last year but how the hell does anyone compete with that?

By the way how is a carbon fibre swing arm even possible?, do they not have strict rigidity tests like they do in f1

Just hope its not a season of stoner pissing off into the distance and there not even being a race like it was in 07 :?

Alan

VR could not ride the Ducati like Stoner. Rossi is not from TC/Carbon Fibre swingarm generation. :p

TC only came around in 2007 and was never seen on a GP bike prior to that  Only Stoner and rides of his vintage have the TC/carbonfibre swingarm advantage.

Oh an the Bridgrstone only made from Stoner/over night made tyres.

Would be interesting to see Rossi on the Ducati he might the only other guy able to match Stoner on it, seriously doubt Rossi would be willing to risk his reputation though.

Your probably right bruce but thats why i think the likes of traction control should be done away with, if we saw that then we'd get proper racing and not computer racing and wud most likely see stoner not being able to compete with rossi, just my opinion though

No one should be surprised at Caseys dominance by now. Still in his early twenties, there's alot more to come yet.

That said, it is the only night race on the calendar and probably has unique subtle nuances that only a rider can try to understand and take advantage of.
Best to wait for regular daytime sessions for a better idea regarding rider lap times.

If Valentino can be consistantly 0.6sec or less behind Casey, we all know the real possibilities here :)

One things for sure. Only Casey Stoner is likely to be the real title challenger, especially if other riders push Valentino down the field during a given race (CE,LC,DP etc).

Bring it on! :D
