I guess Rossi Italian accent and Jeremy Burgess Australian accent works really well. What a load of $hit from this man. What he really wants is help from Colin on how to ride the bike using the BS tyres, but he can't ask since the relationship soured when he thought the grass would be greener on the other side. OMG ...he knew he wanted the man's engineer since last year round 3 and he could not go directly to Colin and ask him instead he was hatching his plans secretly with someone else. Colin did not even have a wall back then. What was stopping him, perhaps it was the devious thoughts and plans going through his mind. I say to James ...take it like a man and lie in your own bed. HAHAHAHA

Don't even bother with the yank James, he won't deliver the results throughout the seanson. He was after all Rossi pupet and must be the biggest kiss a*se in moto GP.

Glad to hear this.. Toseland needs help right now and Colin is an amazing developmental rider who can give him that help. I still want to see Edwards destroy him on-track, but they SHOULD work together in the garage.

This is clearly getting at James more than it is Colin. They either need to talk this out, or JT needs to just forget about 'being friends' with Colin, it's only going to cloud his judgment.

I think it is beyond repair now, they should just stick to having a professional working relationship this season, one of them will probably go anyway to make way for Spies.

He and Garry should have had this conversation with CE months ago! If they both went to him and appolgized, not for switching teams but in the way it was handled than I'm sure all would be forgiven by now.

Does anyone think JT would be making these overtures if his preseason fortunes were going better??

This is purely a PR stance. And I agree the team need to appear "united Front" to the public and specificly the media who are having a field day with this story. CE is never going to be friends with JT and understandably so and JT does not need to be friends with him. This could blow up more than the Repsol teammates last year so this IMOP looks to be a defuse simply for the public image. I doubt the Team(s) and Yamaha are happy with the hole scenario here and as JT has said HP is the team boss HE should have communicated to CE every step of the way. A rider and Crew chief can request anything they want (rossi/Danni BS tyres) but the book stops with the Boss. CE should be AS mad at HP 4 it.

Herve - Regardless of whose fault it is you need to get off the fence and get a grip of your riders. By doing nothing it just makes you look as if you are no longer in control. :?

This was a communication problem within the team which i'm affraid to say is down to Herve not JT himself. All he asked was for a different team chief,he didn't say he wanted Edwards chief. It was Herve who swapped them around and before he had done so SHOULD hvae sat down and talked to Colin about it before anything was done. Why the team couldn't get in a different crew chief for Toseland all together is beyond me,it would have saved all this bullsh*t from ever happening. The way CE has shouted his mouth of about being faster than JT in testing is pretty childish,he had better beat JT at EVERY race this year now otherwise he will look like a grade A ****h*le.

What pissed Colin in a conversation in Soup, was that JT didn't say a word to him before going to the team owner. That was really stupid on JT's part. The amusing thing is the Yorkshire accent(maybe a dialect) and if that was the problem how does Colin understand Reynders as presumably he is Yorkshire.
