Ya know now that I'm back in my home town of Toronto...it seems April is one of those months. Sometimes, after a warm tail end of March, April will dump some snow on us. But one would be foolish to think it will snow in July (in these parts). The trees are budding, the weather is warming, and Rossi is on top!

This is the official start of summer, the motoGP season, and Rossi fanclub bragging rights for this season!

Rossi 09!!

As always Casey was in TOP before Rossi uses his last minute magic forcing him down to second. :)
If the time last longer for another minute or two, I'm sure Stoner will be in top again... Stoner just playing a catch up.

You have to bear in mind that they are still 2 secs off the pace right now. So saying that Valentino is a clear winner on Sunday is kinda' tough. I hope that it stays this close come race day. We need to be watching the battle for 1 place, not 5th or 6th...

What a wonderful result for Vale to be on top of 1st practice. Lets hope this put to sleep the constant whinging from The Morge, his mate Jimmy and the other moaning cohorts about the sport being ruined, etc.

Then again Stoner did mention pre-race that this race would be a different story as no one had tested here as of yet, Well Ducati, Honda and Suzuki at least. I wonder how much time Yamaha spent testing at Motegi with it's test riders in the off season? Thus the result with Vale at the top of the time sheets :p Time to ban 800's, TC, Carbon fibre swing arms, change to tire rules to suit VR, etc

I have a feeling Rossi has resorted to plan B, put a softer tire on, disrupt Casey's usual game plan of dominating every session. Casey is a lot smarter and far more mature now and he will beat Rossi at his own game. Rossi will then be scrambling to find a new approach.
