In the tunnel it's dry, maybe they should build a complete track in a tunnel :p

Only two 45 minute sessions to set up the bikes, one wet one dry. That is ridiculous.

Combined times?!? :?

Looks like they used the friday practice times only!

So one 45min practice deems the grid positions :?

Similar situation as the last race, 1 sec covers the first 4 riders, and 1 sec covers the next 11. What does this tell us about the single tyre rule levelling things? Two races in one it seems to me.

it was obvious that no matter what the riders use rossi stoner lorenzo, and pedrosa will be quickest. if they were running square wheels they would still be fastest. all the rest will only get a look in if the top guys crash or it pours down.

There is a good chance of rain for the race, they should have used the wet session for the grid. What fun that would be :)

Whatever happens this season, the wall between Colin and James seems to be worth 1 second a lap to Colin.

Ok, here's the solution for this and all following races this season: Since there are only 18 bikes on the grid just start 'em motocross-style, handlebar-to-handlebar, in one line across the track. It would make for a thrilling first turn !

Congratulations to Rossi and Yamaha on securing their first pole position of the year. Yamaha and Rossi have responded quicly to Stoner's and Ducati's early season advantage. Leading the dry practice session going into this weekends GP. And Dorna should continue to listen to Rossi. Rossi was foremost in running the first round in Qatar the next day and not cancelling it. Maybe he should suggest that to Dorna again for this round of the Championship! Anyway luck and good fortune is again on the side of Rossi and not the Australian...I can see this trend continuing throught out the season

I feel bad for Mika Kallio,...
He is alot better than 17th :?

With more dry practice & qualifying, he would be alot higher in grid position!!?!

He got 17th from one 45min dry practice session only :?

Not enough time for a rookie, on new everything, to get setup correct!
