MOTOGP » Edwards rules in the rain, Bridgestone wets 'amazing'

Had Saturday’s wet qualifying session at Motegi been able to go ahead, Colin Edwards would have been a definite pole contender.

Its possible, tho hardly likely, Edwards' team were provided with Rossi's wet data & Toselands weren't.

On the other hand there have been several complaints already that the 'mass suppplied' Bridgestones are inconsistent.

It would be great if Colin powerboats his way to a victory but I'd like to see him win one in the dry. Assen '06 was pretty close.

Just by looking at Colin's form this year I'm not buying that. Everyone knows old man Colin isn't going to take big risk - he's got one foot into retirement. And he has been on Michelin for the last 10 plus years and look what he's doing his first year on Bridgestone. He's been in or around the top 5 since testing at the beginning of the year. He was going just as fast at the end of the first race as the beginning. And he lead the wet session last night his first real test on the wets.

He's really making Michelin look bad! Michelin where making relly crappy tires and/or the Bridgstone wet AND dry front is freakin' amazing!

Colin's form this year, in my perspective, is based on his aggression against hos team-mate. That nasty situation provided him the spark that he needed.

We saw CE calming down and become very conservative when, at the beginning of his MotoGP era, he became father. Now is the opposite. Good to seem him turning the situation into his favour.
