Definitely would not take anything from that warm up...Good to see Caseys comments at MotoGP site about all the positives having this rain.....Seems to be a bit of a role reversal these days :)

I realise that most riders wern't trying to hard, since they expect the race to be dry - but Stoner should never be 2 secs ahead! The other riders better hope it doesn't rain in the race, or they will get lapped.

The whackiness continues with very wet warm up, yet conditions were rapidly drying during the 125cc race. I know some guys are not enjoying all this unpredictability, but it really reminds me of days of yore (Merkel, Roberts, Surtees, Agostini, etc.) Heck, in those days arriving at the track was sometimes an adventure. Once there, equipment often added to the uncertainty. So far this season, the Moto GP class has had a variety of unusual turns of events. The guys with the toughest minds will likely be the ones that prevail - even more so than in seasons where things go more or less as planned. It's pretty cool.
