"How did they change gears before the electronic power shifter"

as he knows well, the answer is, they changed gears less quickly, so costing time on every change, that's why he's complaining. It's got nothing to do with toughening up, it's all about lost time on every gear change and every lap.

MOTOGP » Anger and disappointment at Suzuki

For the second time in as many races, Rizla Suzuki left a grand prix feeling they had been unable to achieve anything like their true potential - with a best finish of seventh for Loris Capirossi in Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix.

Anger and disappointment at Suzuki..there should be.Vers comment on having to use the clutch and shut the throttle when changing gears!!"toughen up princess" How did they change gears before the electronic power shifter. Cappas luck will turn for the better soon
You would think that Suzuki would know by now that it takes more than being fast at winter testing or rain to win a GP

It's sad, but Suzuki cannot get its crap sorted, I fear they'll be heading in the same direction as Kawasaki - that is, MotoGP withdrawal.

Silver 51 says "toughen up princess" ... what kind of comment is that. The electrical fault was causing Chris to lose time every time he shifted gears. The fact that he rode so well with the problem and was just beaten by ******land is more worthy of consideration. So "smarten up dummy" before you open your mouth next time.

They should have never built that GSVR picec of crap, They should have built a GSXR 1000 on steroids in 2002 and raced that. That thing has always been potent and at the sharp end. I hate suzuki. If they had built something similar too their street bike like Yamaha they would not be also rans.It won a wet race in 07(the 800cc version) and that is all it has done in 7 years. It seemed it was finally gonna be a good bike this year. (07 was only marginally good because the results were down to tires)Alstare Suzuki have a potent missile of a bike. So do Yoshimura/Rockstar in AMA.They should stick to what works for them and improve on it. Thats easy!

I bet your tough as hell calling me out on the internet. I am gonna have a party at my house this weekend to celebrate meaning so much to your life. If you read my comment you would note it said the Gsxr 1000 is extremely competitive with the results to prove it while the GSVR has been in hundreds of races and only won once in the rain. My opinion is for them to build something like that which is a proven front-runner instead of what they are using now in motogp which i think would be instantly more succesful. having one 4 stroke win says it all. It needs a change. You try making the same mistake over and over again but expecting different results.Tell me how it works out.

It was probably a connector worth 50 cents that had become damp in morning warmup. It's a mechanical sport, **** happens.
What they should do is sort out where it came from and make sure it doesn't happen again. Bummer for Vermin, one of the highest grid positions he ever had gone to the dogs.
